If a signal can be taken from the fire alarm system, usually from one of the sound devices, as an input to a comms port of a PC on the network. Then when the device sounds FAM will detect the signal and print a Fire Evacuation Report – as a list of employees currently clocked in. The report may be sequenced by Assembly/Muster points and may be directed to several printers on the network, either the whole report or by Assembly/Muster point.
The ‘FAM’ program will run on any PC on the network or server with a 9 pin comms port or via a RS232 to USB converter. There is also an option, PC Monitor, to display an alternate red the yellow flashing panel on the touch screen clocking terminals, if installed, and other specified PCs on the network.
